  • If You Change Your Work Hours

    If you’re reducing your weekly scheduled work hours from full-time (30+) to part-time (20-29) or increasing your weekly scheduled work hours from part-time (20-29) to full-time (30+), learn how this change will affect your coverage costs, and review the actions you need to take for each benefit.

    • Costs of coverage for full-time and part-time employees are the same except for health benefits.
    • To make changes to your health benefits, select “My Benefits” in the top navigation bar. Once you are logged in, select “Declare Life Event”.

    If You Go from Part-Time to Full-Time

    • Your cost for medical, dental, and vision coverage will reduce by half.
      • If you don’t do anything, you will default to your current coverage.
      • If you want to change your level of coverage or waive it altogether, contact the Employee Service Center at 888-362-2363.
       
    • STD Buy-up, LTD Buy-up, Basic Life Insurance, and Supplemental Life Insurance are computed on your benefits salary; when the annual update occurs, your coverage amount and employee premium contribution will increase accordingly.

    If You Go from Full-Time to Part-Time

    • Your cost for medical, dental, and vision coverage will double.
      • If you don’t do anything, you will default to your current coverage.
      • If you want to change your level of coverage or waive it altogether, contact the Employee Service Center at 888-362-2363.
       
    • STD Buy-Up, LTD Buy-Up, Basic Life Insurance, and Supplemental Life Insurance are computed on your benefits salary; when the annual update occurs, your coverage amount and employee premium contribution will decrease accordingly.
